What You'll Do
As our Licensing Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring the rights to literary works for adaptation into audiobooks. Your role will be instrumental in shaping our new audiobook business vertical
Develop and implement comprehensive licensing strategies for our new audiobook vertical.
Negotiate and secure advantageous licensing agreements with publishers, authors, and agents.
Coordinate with our legal team to ensure that all agreements comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Maintain strong relationships with licensors and foster new relationships within the publishing industry.
Collaborate with our production team to ensure that projects align with OnMic's standards and brand voice.
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years' experience in licensing, rights acquisition, or a related role in the publishing or entertainment industry.
Exceptional negotiation skills and a deep understanding of contract law.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
A passion for books and a strong grasp of the current publishing landscape.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
Knowledge of the audiobook industry is a plus.
