Khanh Tran aims to create value by empowering talented visionaries to transform their ideas into real businesses. Growing up the son of a brilliant engineer turned entrepreneur father, Khanh witnessed first-hand the difficulties of doing business in an emerging market. He saw many smart academics suffering from unfairness in accessing capital and quickly realized that talent and technology alone cannot foster innovation or create economic prosperity.<br/><br/>He set his sights on playing a role in building a financial ecosystem in Vietnam and the region that will enable future generations to be free to learn, discover, innovate, and have resources available to them to help transform their ideas into viable businesses. Khanh co-founded VinaCapital Ventures after his many years of work at Goldman Sachs, Grab and GoBear.<br/><br/>Khanh has a BEng and a MSc in Electronic Communication and Computer Engineering from University of Nottingham and an MBA from INSEAD.

Tu believes everyone has an inner potential but opportunities are not equally distributed, hence as a startup founder, VC investor and community builder, she wants to invest and support especially young people, entrepreneurs and women to chart their own destinies. <br/><br/>She co-founded and now serves as Chairwoman of YOLA, a leading online-offline English education services company in Vietnam. <br/><br/>Tu has a B.A. in Public Policy from Stanford University and an MBA from INSEAD. Tu is a member of the inaugural cohort of the Obama Foundation’s Leaders: Asia-Pacific and the Asia Gender Network, the first pan-Asian network dedicated to the funding advancement of women and girls.

Nam loves education, entertainment, gaming, blockchain and deep tech. Nam has extensive and diverse knowledge in all aspects of business management via his previous experiences as a financial analyst with Morgan Stanley, a management consultant with McKinsey, a business strategy manager with Galaxy Studio and a co-founder of IPP Education. <br/> <br/>He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science and an MBA from INSEAD.

Trang is an Investment Associate at Touchstone, where she leverages her startup operations background and financial investigative expertise to source, analyze, and execute early-stage investment opportunities. Prior to joining Touchstone, Trang was a Senior Financial Analyst at Rever (a Vietnam-based proptech startup), supporting the founding team in fundraising and business strategy. She began her career at Ernst & Young as a Forensic Consultant, conducting investigations into financial misconduct across diverse sectors including technology, FMCG, banking, and life sciences. Trang holds an MA in International Political Economy from the University of Warwick (PAIS MA Scholarship) and a BA in Accounting and Finance from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (Dean’s List, JASSO Scholarship). She speaks Vietnamese, English, Japanese, and Chinese. Outside of work, she enjoys reading the rise-and-fall (and sometimes rise again) of businesses, photographing her dogs, and building random databases.

Hoang Anh has joined Touchstone Partners in June 2021 as Senior Admin Officer. Hoang Anh takes care of office administration and procedures to support the Investment team. <br/><br/>Prior to Touchstone, Anh was Admin Executive at iKala, a leading Human-Centered AI company. Prior to that, she worked as a General Accountant in a top tier Retail Company in Vietnam. She holds a BSc in Accounting from University of Maryland and a Master of Accounting from University of Miami.

At Touchstone Partners, Khue designs and leads strategic projects, including the Net Zero Challenge (in partnership with Temasek Foundation), the AIS4EE Accelerator (with the EU, GGGI, and MOIT), and founder-focused initiatives like the Coffee Chat Series. Her academic background is in Development Economics. She holds a degree from the International College of Liberal Arts (full-ride academic scholarship) and completed a one-year program at the University of Oxford (Economics & Management). Khue is fluent in Vietnamese and English, with intermediate proficiency in Japanese and French. Outside of work, she enjoys bouldering, free-diving, and learning languages.

Lam assisted in high-profile project financing deals as well as corporate governance matters at Vietnam International Law Firm (VILAF), a top-tier international law firm in Vietnam as recognized by numerous prestigious institutions, namely Legal 500, IFLR1000 and AsiaLaw, among others. Lam’s fields of practice put emphasis on project finance, inward investment, capital market and corporate governance. <br/><br/>He worked closely with all parties in all stages of a transaction, from the preparation of term sheets to closing. Lam has participated in deals at all scales, and displayed deep insight at each step of such deal. <br/><br/>He got his LLB, International Trade and Business Laws, Hanoi Law University & Legal Practice Certified by the Judicial Academy of Vietnam, Ministry of Justice.
